ICTQ School of English in collaboration with the European Pilot Academy of Malta, have created a course solely intended for young people interested in Aviation. The program is intended to deliver the Basics of Aviation Training, along with Aviation English. In return the student will be able to understand how an aircraft flies and how air traffic is controlled. They will learn basic Aviation terminology in English – the International Language of the skies. The students enrolling to this course will be able to experience what it takes to become a Pilot. So whether it’s as a hobby or as a future career this is definitely the first step in the right direction!

Ground School Exam:At the end of the course the student will sit for the ‘Aeronautical Exams’ and upon passing, a certificate of completion will be awarded.
FNPT II Simulator Experience:During this ‘flight’ students can practice landings and take offs under abnormal conditions which are usually part of the training before becoming an airline pilot.
The Flight Experience:The highlight of the course is when the Air Cadet will fly one of the European Pilot Academy’s certified training aircraft. Following a ground briefing, the Air Cadet will be seated in the Pilot seat inside the cockpit. After being made familiar with the instruments and controls and wearing the head set, the pilot together with the Air Cadet will follow through the communications with the Air Traffic Controller for a Start Up and taxi clearance and after lining up on the runway, the Air Traffic controller will clear the student to commence ‘Take off’.
